python-vipscc software package provides image processing system good for very large images (tools), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-vipscc
python-vipscc is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-vipscc package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-vipscc *
You will get with python-vipscc package name, version, architecture and description in a table
